i love telling visual stories and i will make a film that reminds you of what your day felt like.

in a world of perfectly crafted videos, i think the less perfect ones tell a much more important story. the focus should be on you and not on how extravagant the video production was.  i home in on the moments between the highlights.

i call my work films instead of videos - and that's not because i think i am a better filmmaker than others. it's because as films, i think they tell a different story.

a lot of wedding videos seem to focus on a series of moments that most weddings share. i try to home in on the moments in between moments, the ephemeral, the stuff you dream about later, which is also why i sometimes cut out of sequence. the glances, the tears, the little kid running innocently around, friends holding hands as they recognize the love present in your ceremony being the same that brought them together once upon a time. leaves rustling in the wind, sun glares, family dogs. sometimes these things tell more of a story than the grand, sweeping moments we're familiar with.

i don't take this task lightly. i am deeply honored you are choosing to have me hang out with the people most precious to you, to document your most momentous occasion. my task is not done until your wedding film elicits powerful emotions as you find yourself re-experiencing that day, years from now.

i look forward to connecting with you. please drop me a line!
